For the Greater Good!

 In my previous post I was talking about starting a T'au army for the second first time (I had previously bought a load of Tau but never built the army). Since then I have done quite a bit of work on it and decided to create a 1000 point army instead of just a patrol.

In order to do this on a budget most of the force was collected together from various Ebay sellers which has lead to some nice surprises and some disappointment. One such disappointment was in the Piranha being lost in the post, but thankfully the seller was able to refund me as it was down to Royal Mail being less than stellar.

I'm not going to post it all here, today, but I will do a comprehensive army list soon. However, included in this list will be a Commander in Crisis armour that I am kit bashing from an old Crisis Battle suit that came with one of the bits lots I got. I'm also going to include some Vespid Stingwings, but I'm currently one miniature short of the 5 needed so the mission to find one continues. A third addition to the force is a Broadside, which I'm currently waiting for it to arrive so I can put it together to join my other Battle suits in my force. I have also managed to find another Piranha for a decent price so hopefully this one won't disappear off into the Aether.

I will be including Kroot in my army in the revised list. I've opted for Hounds and Knarloc Riders so there's going to be some 3D printing going on in this list. I do have some Kroot and a Shaper, but they're going to be a later addition to a larger force as for now I've already got my hands full. I have thought about scratch building a Riptide too, but the reality is there isn't enough time to do that right now and the 52mm scale Arvus Lighter has dibs on the next thing to be made in the queue.
