Dwarf Marines: Company Veterans

I've taken a bit of a break from the hectic business of moving during this absolutely bonkers time we live in to do some hobby stuff. Specifically, with the new codex marines and new Battle scribe update, I have been updating my patrol list. This has, of course, meant that done of my already constructed miniatures will have to wait until I'm done with this new list.

List changes

There are quite a few significant changes to the list, but I will be finishing the models I've already started to paint alongside the new list.

Taken straight from the PC screen (sorry for the bad image), the new list for the Combat Patrol force.

As you can see, the razorback, servitors, and dreadnought are gone and replaced with  2 veteran squads and an attack bike. I felt that this would be a better list and would allow me to try some other things. It also means that I'll have to make three new squads. As the Company Veteran squad only has two members to it I thought I'd do a Blu-tac test of it first. This was mainly to see if the storm shields I had looked ok or whether I would need to make a new one.

As you can see it looks fine so I may put the two together this evening while I have a little respite. The Vanguard Veterans will have to wait until the end of next week.

Attack Bike

I have been wanting to make one of these for my Dwarf Marines for a while. I think I want to make it kind of similar to a GW attack bike, but may try scratch building it and giving it the aesthetic I've been trying to keep in the force to date. We'll see, and it may be something that once I'm done I release as a generic model. We'll see how it comes out.
